By accessing or using AuraCast services — including the website (jsglow.name), desktop application, Android application, Discord bot, or API — you ("User," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using AuraCast. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AuraCast ("we," "us," "our").
If you are using AuraCast on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
AuraCast provides the following services:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable notice where feasible.
You must be at least 13 years old to use AuraCast. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using AuraCast, you represent that you meet these age requirements.
AuraCast uses Discord OAuth for account creation. You must have a valid Discord account in good standing. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it.
You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans, restrictions, or to abuse free-tier limitations. We reserve the right to merge, suspend, or delete duplicate accounts.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account information current. We are not responsible for issues arising from inaccurate account information.
AuraCast uses Discord's OAuth 2.0 system for authentication. By connecting your Discord account:
AuraCast is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.
All subscription purchases are generally non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as described below.
You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:
To request a refund, contact us at support@jsglow.name with your account details and a description of the issue. We will review and respond within 5 business days.
Initiating an unauthorized chargeback with your payment provider may result in immediate account suspension. Please contact us before disputing a charge.
If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including a 14-day cooling-off period for digital services where the service has not yet commenced.
AuraCast's radio station database is sourced from the Radio Browser API, licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL). Station data including names, stream URLs, and metadata are provided by third parties and may be inaccurate or outdated.
Radio stations accessible through AuraCast are publicly available internet radio streams. AuraCast provides access to these streams as a technical conduit. AuraCast does not own, operate, or claim rights to any radio station content.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of radio streams complies with applicable copyright law in your jurisdiction. The availability of a station through AuraCast does not imply that listening is licensed for your specific use case.
Radio stations may be unavailable due to station downtime, geographic restrictions, or technical issues beyond our control. We make no guarantee of continuous availability of any specific station.
Premium users may submit radio stations for inclusion. By submitting a station, you represent that: (a) the station is a legitimate publicly accessible stream, (b) you have the right to submit it, and (c) submission does not violate any third-party rights. We reserve the right to reject submissions at our discretion.
You may create and manage playlists for personal use. AuraCast does not host audio files — playlists reference external sources. You are responsible for ensuring your playlist usage complies with applicable copyright law.
You may create soundboards using audio content. By uploading or linking audio content to soundboards, you represent that you own or have the right to use that content. AuraCast reserves the right to remove soundboard content that infringes third-party rights.
Features that allow sharing of playlists or soundboards with other users are subject to AuraCast's content policies. Do not share content that infringes copyright, violates privacy, or is otherwise prohibited.
AuraCast's community chat features (when available) allow users to communicate. By using community features:
Community chat features are provided as-is. We are not responsible for content posted by other users.
Content you submit, upload, or create on AuraCast ("Your Content") remains yours. You retain all ownership rights.
By submitting Your Content, you grant AuraCast a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, store, display, and distribute Your Content solely as necessary to provide the services.
Your Content must not:
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful to users or the platform, without prior notice.
You may not:
AuraCast reserves the right to investigate violations of these Terms and take appropriate action, including but not limited to: content removal, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.
Users may report violations by contacting support@jsglow.name. We take reports seriously but cannot guarantee action on every report or disclose the results of investigations.
If your account is suspended or content is removed, you may appeal by emailing support@jsglow.name within 30 days of the action. We will review appeals and respond within 10 business days.
We are not obligated to monitor user content but reserve the right to do so. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it in the future.
You may delete your account at any time through the AuraCast settings. Upon deletion, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Active Premium subscriptions should be cancelled before account deletion to avoid continued charges.
We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if you:
Upon termination: your right to access AuraCast ceases immediately; Your Content may be deleted; active subscriptions will be cancelled; any outstanding obligations (such as owed fees) survive termination.
If your account is terminated for cause, you forfeit any remaining prepaid subscription period. If terminated without cause, we will pro-rate a refund for unused prepaid time.
AuraCast respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on AuraCast infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to:

Your DMCA notice must include: (a) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (b) identification of the material to be removed with sufficient detail to locate it; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good faith belief; (e) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury; and (f) your signature.
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the address above. Counter-notices must comply with DMCA requirements including a statement under penalty of perjury.
AuraCast will terminate accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.
Radio stream URLs in AuraCast's database are sourced from public third-party databases. If you operate a radio station and wish to have it removed from AuraCast's database, contact dmca@jsglow.name.
The AuraCast Discord Bot provides radio discovery, premium status queries, and community features within Discord servers. The bot operates subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Developer Policy.
By adding the AuraCast bot to your Discord server, you (as server administrator) accept responsibility for how the bot is used in your server and agree to these Terms on behalf of your server.
The AuraCast bot does not currently play audio in voice channels. Future voice features, when enabled, will require additional authorization and will be subject to radio licensing requirements.
Future voice channel radio relay features may be subject to additional licensing requirements. Such features will not be publicly launched until applicable licensing review is complete. We make no representation that audio relay via Discord bot is permitted without appropriate licensing.
Using the AuraCast bot to spam, harass, or abuse other users, or using it for purposes beyond its intended use, will result in removal from the bot's authorized server list and may result in account suspension.
Access to the AuraCast API (api.jsglow.name) is subject to these Terms. Unauthorized API access, circumvention of rate limits, or scraping is prohibited.
The API enforces rate limits to ensure fair access. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary IP blocks. Systematic attempts to circumvent rate limits are prohibited.
The AuraCast API is intended for use by AuraCast applications (desktop, mobile, bot). Use of the API by third-party applications requires our express written permission.
If you discover a security vulnerability in AuraCast, please disclose it responsibly by contacting security@jsglow.name. Do not exploit vulnerabilities or disclose them publicly before we have had a reasonable opportunity to address them. We appreciate responsible disclosures and will acknowledge valid reports.

AuraCast is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
AuraCast includes content from third parties (radio stations, user submissions). We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for third-party content. Your use of third-party content is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AuraCast shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of AuraCast shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to AuraCast in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AuraCast and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the service; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the AuraCast website or through the application. Your continued use of AuraCast after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
For significant changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice before the new terms take effect.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction as required by law.
